In this two-hour taster session, you'll learn the basics of linocut printmaking and make your own colourful mini prints.
Linocut printmaking is a form of relief printing, where you carve away portions of the block to bring your design to life. In this workshop, you'll learn the basics of cutting and then experiment printing them with different coloured ink stamps and papers.
What you'll take home
Your carved lino block plus all your mini prints, perfect to keep or give as gifts.
What's included
All printmaking equipment, plus tea and coffee to keep you going.
What to wear
Printmaking can get inky! Please bring an apron or wear clothes you don't mind getting messy.
This workshop is designed for adults, but students aged 16+ are welcome to join, provided they are accompanied by an adult.
