Private & Group Linocut Workshops in Essex
Looking for something different for a hen do, birthday or team celebration? My linocut workshops in Essex are a fun, hands-on group activity where everyone carves, inks and prints their own take-home design. No experience needed: just good company and a willingness to get a little inky.
What to expect?
Your group will be guided through the full process: designing, carving, inking and printing, with everyone finishing with their own take-home print.
Sessions typically run for 2-3 hours. No experience is needed; I keep instructions simple so mixed-ability groups (from total beginners to keen crafters) can all enjoy it together.
What You'll Get Out of It
A relaxed, hands-on experience that's a bit different from the usual meal or drinks-based celebration! Everyone leaves with their own hand-printed design to take home, plus a shared activity that gets the group talking, laughing, and (usually) a little competitive about whose print looks best. It's a great option if you want something memorable rather than another trip to a bar or restaurant.

My private and group workshops are perfect for hen parties, birthdays, work team days, family celebrations or simply a group of friends looking for something different to do together. Groups are usually made up of a mix of complete beginners and more experienced crafters, no one needs prior experience, and everyone works at their own pace.

Carve your own design and print it onto a tea towel or tote bag to take home

Pricing & Group Size
Prices vary depending on workshop type, venue, and group size, but as a guide:
Linocut printmaking workshops
£30–£50 per person
Card making workshops
£40–£50 per person
Fabric printing (tea towels/tote bags)
add £5–£10 per person on top of the standard workshop price, to cover materials
Groups of up to 10 people can be accommodated. A minimum of 4 people in a group. Get in touch with your group size, preferred workshop type, and date in mind, and I'll confirm exact pricing for your booking.
Where workshops take place
My studio is within my family home so private and group workshops are always arranged at a venue to suit you; whether that's a space you've already booked, a venue I regularly partner with, or somewhere local to you in Essex. This means I can bring the workshop to a location that works for your group, rather than asking everyone to travel to me.
