Accessibility
I'm committed to making my linocut printmaking workshops as inclusive, welcoming and accessible as possible. Creativity is for everyone and I strive to provide a supportive environment where all participants can comfortably explore the process of printmaking.
I understand that access needs vary and I'm happy to make adjustments whenever possible. If you have specific requirements, I encourage you to get in touch before your workshop so I can plan accordingly.
During in-person workshops:
Step-free access at most venues (please check individual listings)
Seating available for all participants
Assistance with carving tools or setup for those who need it
Quiet breaks or reduced-sensory adjustments when needed
Typed resources are provided by email after the workshop
I'm always learning and improving so if there's a way I can better support you, please let me know.
Accessibility FAQ
Q: What accommodations are available during workshops?
A: I can provide seating and a calm environment. I am also happy to assist with any physical aspects of the process, if needed.
Q: How can I request additional support?
A: Simply email me at hello@natashadavisart.co.uk. Ideally, let me know at least a week before your workshop.
Q: Is your workshop venue wheelchair accessible?
A: Most venues are step-free and have ramps, but it can vary. Some workshops, such as those taking place at the Art House at HOFS, are in older buildings where hallways and toilets are narrower. Please contact me directly for details on hello@natashadavisart.co.uk.
Q: I have limited hand strength or mobility - can I still participate?
A: Absolutely. I can provide assistance with tools, offer modified techniques, or work together to find a comfortable approach that suits you. I can also offer styrofoam printmaking or soft cut lino - if you think you may require this, please do let me know on hello@natashadavisart.co.uk at least a week in advance of your workshop so I can provide the accommodations.
Q: What if I feel overwhelmed or need a break?
A: No problem at all. I keep our workshop environments relaxed and flexible. You’re welcome to take breaks at any time.
If you have questions or want to chat about your specific needs, don’t hesitate to reach out: hello@natashadavisart.co.uk.
