Carve out some festive cheer at this linocut Christmas card workshop, perfect for anyone who fancies a cosy afternoon making beautiful handmade cards. Absolute beginners welcome!
You’ll learn how to design, carve and print your very own lino block, with expert guidance. We’ll begin with a mini mark-making exercise to help you get to grips with the tools, then move on to creating a festive design so you can print your own delightful set of handmade Christmas cards.
By the end of the session, you’ll head home with your very own bundle of printed Christmas cards to gift to friends and family.
What you'll take home
Your two lino blocks, plus multiple printed cards.
What's included
All printmaking equipment, plus tea and coffee to keep you going.
What to wear
Printmaking can get inky! Please bring an apron or wear clothes you don't mind getting messy.
This workshop is designed for adults, but students aged 16+ are welcome to join, provided they are accompanied by an adult.
