Join a friendly introduction to the art of linocut printmaking, held in a cosy, welcoming private home setting.
Linocut printmaking is a form of relief printing, where you carve away portions of the block to bring your design to life. In this workshop, you'll learn how to transfer your designs onto a lino block, carve your block safely, roll the ink and print your creations. During the session, you'll work on two projects: a mark-making block to get you started, and a 10cm x 15cm block to refine your skills.
Please note: this workshop takes place in a relaxed home environment rather than a commercial venue or studio. It's a small, informal setting, and full address and arrival details will be sent to you after booking.
What you'll take home
Your two lino blocks, plus multiple printed copies of each design, perfect to keep or give as gifts.

What to wear
Printmaking can get inky! Please bring an apron or wear clothes you don't mind getting messy.
Who it's for
This workshop is designed for adults, but students aged 16+ are welcome to join, provided they are accompanied by a paying adult.
