Intermediate linocut: jigsaw print

Join me for a relaxed all-day workshop in my home, building on your linocut skills. In this workshop we will plan and design a jigsaw/puzzle block, looking at examples. You'll carve your own printing block, slice it apart like a jigsaw puzzle, and ink each piece separately to then build a two or three-coloured print using a simple registration system. A great introduction into starting your multi-coloured printmaking journey.

Please note: this workshop takes place in a cosy, relaxed home environment rather than a commercial venue or studio. It's a small, informal setting, and full address and arrival details will be sent to you after booking.

Please bring a packed lunch. There will be half an hour for lunch where we can eat, relax and chat around the table, with tea and coffee on hand.

Who is this for?
Anyone who has attended my beginner workshops or who is comfortable and confident with cutting a basic block. This is a next-step workshop, not an introduction to carving.

Your lino block, plus multiple printed copies of your design, perfect to keep or give as gifts.

What to wear
Printmaking can get inky! Please bring an apron or wear clothes you don't mind getting messy.

Age requirements
This workshop is designed for adults, but students aged 16+ are welcome to join, provided they are accompanied by a paying adult and meet the previous experience requirements.
