A handmade original linocut print printed on Japanese HoSho paper, with mount.
Figs is a botanical print showing twisting fig leaves in lush green and ripe fruit in deep purple. This print was partially inspired by Sylvia Plath's metaphorical fig tree in The Bell Jar.
Due to the nature of printing by hand, there will be variations in every print. Each print is unique.
Each print is hand-pulled on off-white Japanese Hosho paper. This paper naturally has tiny speckles and fibres which can be visible on the paper.
